SHINE Council and Tute Talent

Tute SHINE council

What is the SHINE Council?
The Tute SHINE Council is a group of students who meet once every half term to share ideas, give feedback, and help make Tute a better place for everyone. It’s your chance to make sure the voice of students is heard and to work on projects that make a real difference to our community.

Why join?
– You can share your thoughts about life at Tute and suggest improvements.
– You’ll be involved in planning activities and campaigns linked to our SHINE values (Support, Honesty, Inclusivity, Nurture, Empowerment).
– You’ll develop skills like teamwork, leadership, and communication.

What we expect from members:
– Join and take part in half-termly online meetings.
– Share ideas and listen to others.
– Work together on projects and help share news with other students.
– Represent your peers in a fair and respectful way.

How to get involved:
If you would like to be part of our SHINE Council, you can either:

Example reasons you could give:
– I want to help make lessons and activities even better for students.
– I enjoy speaking up for others and making sure everyone feels included.
– I have ideas for projects to support student wellbeing.
– I’d like to develop my confidence in meetings and leadership.
– I want to help share student views with teachers.
