Why attendance matters

Being in your online lessons really helps you do your best at school. Here’s why showing up matters:

You learn more when you're there
• Every lesson helps you build on what you already know.
• You get to take part, ask questions, and learn with your classmates.
• When you're in lessons regularly, it's easier to keep up and feel confident.

You feel more connected
• Seeing your teacher and classmates helps you feel part of something.
• It’s easier to stay motivated and enjoy learning when you're part of the group.

It helps with your routine
• Having lessons each week gives you structure and keeps your day on track.
• It can help with your focus, motivation, and feeling good about your progress.

Attendance supports your wellbeing
• Lessons give you a safe space to be yourself and talk if you need to.
• You’re not alone- there are people who care and want to support you.

Missed a lesson? You can catch up!
• If you do miss a session, no worries! You can watch the lesson playback.
• It’s great for catching up or going over tricky bits again.
• But remember live lessons are better for asking questions and joining in real time.

Need help? Just ask!
If you’re finding it hard to attend lessons or feeling stuck:
• Talk to your teacher or a trusted adult.

Remember:
Every lesson helps you get one step closer to your goals.
Turning up really does make a difference!

“Every day you show up is a step forward. Keep going, you’re doing better than you think.”
