UN International Day of Happiness
Thursday the 20th of March 2025 is International Day of Happiness and this year’s theme reminds us that lasting happiness comes from caring for each other, feeling connected and being part of something bigger.

How can you get involved?

STEP 1: THINK
Have you seen something recently that you found helpful or inspiring? It could be a new idea, quote, image, podcast, article, book or place.

STEP 2: CARE
Could someone you care about also benefit from this idea? It could be a friend, family member or neighbour.

STEP 3: SHARE
How will you share this information? Share on a messaging app, leave a voice note, give them a call, or pop around to say Hello!

Once you’ve done your 3 steps, spread the word and encourage others to do the same. Use the hashtag #InternationalDayOfHappiness on Social Media.

You can find out more information by looking at International Day of Happiness – 20 March and The Happy Newspaper.

Long Covid Awareness Day
March the 15th was Long COVID Awareness Day, a time to recognise those facing ongoing effects of COVID-19. Many people, including young individuals, experience lasting symptoms that impact daily life.

At Tute, we’re raising awareness and learning how we can support those affected. Watch to find out more!

Kindness
Have you heard the saying “In a World where you can be anything, be kind”?

Did you know that in a recent survey of 6,000 young people “kindness” was chosen as Children’s word of the year for 2024? (Source: Kindness is Children’s 2024 Word of the Year, says OUP – BBC Newsround)

We love showing kindness and gratitude every day at Tute. Simple acts such as saying ‘good morning’ or ‘thank you’ can really help brighten someone’s day. Can you think of ways you can use kindness every day?
