Form Groups

What are form groups?

Form groups are small groups that meet twice a week and are led by a tutor. Everyone in your group will be using Tute, so you’ll get to know other students just like you.

Why do we have form groups?

Form groups are here to help you:

Feel part of a team: everyone belongs.

Get support: your tutor is someone you can talk to.

Stay on track: we check in on how things are going for you.

Celebrate wins: we notice and shout about the good stuff.

Have your voice heard: it’s a space for your thoughts, questions, and ideas.

When do they happen?

We meet twice a week – don’t worry, your timetable will tell you when. It’s a short but important part of your week that helps us all stay connected.

What will we do?

Each session is a little different, but it might include:

Talking about how things are going in lessons

Checking your progress

Doing fun activities and games

Talking about current issues or themes (like kindness, teamwork, staying safe online)

Planning or reflecting on your goals

Who is my tutor?

Your tutor is one of your regular teachers who’s there to support you throughout your time here. They get to know you really well and will help make sure you’re doing okay.
