Risk assessment for students accessing Tute

We highly recommend that you complete a risk assessment before enrolling a student in Tute’s provision.

This helps ensure that any potential risks affecting a student’s safety, engagement, or well-being are identified and addressed in advance, creating a structured and supportive learning experience.

When referring students to Tute, we will ask whether you have conducted a risk assessment:

  • If you have, we will ask you to submit it to us.
  • If you have not, we strongly recommend that you complete one. We provide a template and detailed guidance to support you.

Ensuring effective risk assessment

To ensure that risk assessment is embedded in our approach and that students access Tute’s provision safely, we have:

  • Risk assessment policy – Outlines the framework for assessing and managing student risk, clarifying the responsibilities of commissioning partners, Tute, parents, and students.
  • Risk assessment guidance – Provides a structured approach to identifying key risk areas, including safeguarding, online safety, supervision, and additional needs.
  • Risk assessment template – A ready-to-use document that makes it easy to complete and submit a structured risk assessment.

Risk assessment is an ongoing process, and we encourage you to update assessments as circumstances change. If you have any questions, please refer to the guidance document or contact us for support.

Please submit risk assessments to admin.support@tute.com.
