SHINE values at Tute

SHINE Values are there so our online classrooms are safe, fair, and positive.

They’re about showing respect, working hard, and being kind.

We have them so everyone knows what’s okay and what’s not, and so every pupil can learn without anyone stopping them.

Following the SHINE Values helps us feel part of the same team. We belong here, we look out for each other, and we work together so everyone can do their best.

E

Engaged

We are present, prepared, and ready to learn, we listen actively and respond appropriately.

We speak honestly and listen to each other, doing the right thing and taking responsibility for our actions while helping each other do our best.

N

Nurturing

We look after ourselves and each other, so we feel happy, confident, and ready to do well.

I

Inclusive

We respect and include everyone, welcoming different ideas, needs, and backgrounds so everyone feels safe and part of the group.
