At Tute, all your lessons are taught by real, qualified teachers who know the national curriculum inside out. They’ve all had background checks (DBS) and are trained to keep you safe.

Our teachers are here to help you learn, grow, and feel confident in a friendly, supportive environment. You’ll call them by their first name, and they’ll be with you every step of the way, making sure you’re making progress while having a positive learning experience.

There are usually about another 10 students in lessons. We encourage our students to work together and, of course, we expect them to be respectful of each other. No-one will be able to see you during your lessons as you won’t be using a webcam, but you’ll be able to see and hear your teacher, who will be using their webcam.

You’ll gain a lot from your lessons! With Tute you can prepare for exams, work at a pace to suit you, and access lessons beyond academic learning as we hold sessions on wellbeing and online safety. Your teachers will focus on building your confidence and helping you flourish in your studies.

We would love for you to be able to attend every lesson, but we also realise that this is not always possible. If you know in advance, you can let your teacher know. If you can’t do this, that’s fine. Please don’t worry. Just log back in when you are able to. Remember that you can also watch your lesson on playback if you miss anything!

We have a positive communication policy, which all teachers follow. If you feel your learning is being disrupted by another student, please message your teacher during the lesson. If you can’t do this, please email inclusion@tute.com and we will act on your concern.

You can send them a private message during the lesson. You can also message them through the platform.
