Support for you

Meet Natalie, our Parent Support Associate

You play a vital role in your child’s education.

While we work directly with schools and LAs to organise education, we are here to help you support your child in getting the most out of their education with us.

Here’s what we can and will do:

  • Guide you on how to create a supportive learning environment at home
  • Help you understand how to access and use Tute’s platform
  • Explain how Tute lessons work and what your child can expect
  • Provide tips on encouraging attendance and engagement
  • Share resources that help you support your child’s learning
  • Listen to your feedback and answer your questions about Tute’s provision
  • Signpost you to additional resources or organisations that may be able to help
  • Run online sessions to provide information and give you the opportunity to ask questions

However, there are some things we cannot do:

  • Make changes to the education, timetable, or provision organised by your child’s school or local authority without their agreement
  • Attend meetings with parents or carers, such as EHCP reviews or other formal education planning discussions
  • Provide legal advice or guidance related to your child’s education or SEND
  • Speak on your behalf to schools, local authorities, or other organisations
  • Advise on decisions about the suitability of online learning for your child or changes to their educational arrangements

Our role is to deliver the education arranged by your child’s school or local authority, ensuring your child can access lessons effectively and make the most of their time with Tute. We are here to answer your questions and offer practical support to help your child thrive.

If you have questions about your child’s provision or want more information on how we can support you, please feel free to explore the resources in this Parent and Carer Hub or contact us directly. We’re here to help you and your child succeed.

If you need support, please contact inclusion@tute.com and a member of the team will be in touch as soon as possible.

Additional support for staying safe

We understand that sometimes it can be difficult for young people to open up, especially to someone they don’t know well. If your child finds it hard to speak with someone at Tute, there is additional support available through the Thinkuknow website. They provide expert advice and a safe space where children and young people can seek help and guidance when they need it.
