Tute is an online education provider chosen by your child’s school or local authority to deliver high-quality learning. Lessons are live, interactive, and designed to ensure your child receives a high-quality education, whatever their circumstances.
We teach about 30 subjects, including English, maths, science, humanities, and languages. The subjects your child studies will depend on the package chosen by their school or local authority.
Lessons are delivered live in our secure Learning Cloud (online classroom). Your child can access their lessons through their Learning Portal, where they’ll find their timetable and a link to join.
This depends on what package the school or local authority has arranged.
For shared curriculums, Tute follows its own term dates, which you can view here.
For private curriculums, timetables follow your school’s term dates, so holidays align.
This depends on the type of provision arranged by their school or local authority. Your child may attend group lessons with other students or personalised one-to-one sessions.
Our experienced teachers manage the classroom, and you don’t have access to the lesson itself but, it is a good idea to have an adult close by to supervise to ensure that your child is safe and that they attend the lesson.
Younger children or those with additional needs may benefit from having a parent or carer nearby.
We cannot cancel or change lessons without the request coming from the school or local authority that has arranged the education package.
Tute’s teachers deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum, designed to meet your child’s needs. Progress and engagement are tracked, and feedback is shared with their school or local authority.
Yes, all Tute teachers are fully qualified and experienced, with backgrounds in face-to-face teaching before specialising in online education.
Our teachers undergo rigorous training in how to deliver engaging and effective lessons in Tute’s Learning Cloud (online classroom). This includes:
Tute has a dedicated SEND team who work to ensure that lesson content and teaching methods are suitable for all students. They support teachers in delivering inclusive lessons that meet the needs of every child.

Our teachers are passionate professionals who love what they do. Online teaching is their chosen career, and they are committed to helping students succeed. Their enthusiasm and expertise create a positive, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Building positive relationships is a key part of how Tute teachers help students succeed. In our online environment, teachers work hard to create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere where every student feels valued. Here’s how they do it:
One Page Profile
At Tute, we believe every child is unique, and understanding their strengths, interests, and challenges is key to helping them thrive in their online learning journey. Completing a one-page profile about your child gives us valuable insights into who they are, their learning preferences, and any specific support they may need. Your child can complete their one page profile in the student portal of the platform. This profile will be available for their teachers to review, helping them to personalise delivery and support better learning outcomes.
This information allows us to tailor our approach, create a more personalised learning experience, and ensure your child feels supported, engaged, and empowered to succeed.
Our teachers set clear behaviour expectations for every lesson. If any concerns arise, we work with your child’s school or local authority to address them promptly.
If you’ve been given access to the Parent Learning Portal, you can log in to view attendance, engagement, and progress reports. Otherwise, this information will be shared by your child’s school or local authority.
Encourage your child to attend lessons regularly, engage actively, and complete any follow-up work. Providing a quiet learning space and helping them log in on time can also make a big difference.

Please inform your child’s school or local authority as soon as possible, so they can notify us and manage attendance.
The platform will still class your child as absent – we’re working on improving this.

If you have a concern, get in touch and we’ll do our best to sort it out!
For anything related to your child’s provision, hours, or placement, you’ll need to contact your school, local authority, or the organisation that arranged their education, as they make those decisions.
If your concern is about Tute’s service, you can send us a message at complaints@tute.com. We’ll always try to resolve things informally first.
