Investing in Children Membership Award
We are delighted to share that Tute has been awarded the Investing in Children Membership Award, following an independent evaluation with our students, and we are the first online provider to receive it!
This is a significant recognition. Meaningful student voice is difficult to achieve in any education context, and even more so in online provision, where students may have experienced disrupted education, anxiety, SEND, low confidence, or previous barriers to engagement. The report shows that Tute has not only created ways for students to be heard, but has used what they tell us to make real changes to their learning experience.
From student voice
to real change
The independent evaluation engaged directly with Tute students across two formal Student Council meetings. The evaluator assessed the breadth and quality of Tute’s approach to student voice, documenting the following areas of evidence.
Student voice
“TUTE gives a lot of opportunities for student feedback, especially with student voice month recently.”
“I think TUTE is good because it includes everyone, no matter where you are from, they listen and are respectful.”
“Definitely feel heard. Being able to join the council, compared to the 1st session when there were just 2 people, it feels like more people are being heard and changes are actually being made.”
This award reflects something that matters deeply to us:
making sure students are not only supported, but genuinely heard, respected, and able to shape the provision they receive.
